Zhaofei Zheng

My PhD research focuses on the behavior of liquid crystals and their defects during smectic-to-nematic/cholesteric phase transitions, utilizing polymer stabilization techniques. As a postdoctoral researcher at Yale, I will shift toward interdisciplinary studies, applying liquid crystal theory to understand the dynamics of cell movement and alignment.
